My introduction to ceramics began in 1985 at Orange Coast College, and by the end of that first year I had found my career path. In 1991 I earned my BFA from CSULB and my MFA from CSUF in 1997. I have been teaching ceramics at Vista High School since 1997. My work is inspired from the ocean and mountain environments, with each piece containing a rich landscape of texture and color variation. I am constantly striving to make work that pushes what is possible with form, surface and glaze. I also have a once a year home sale in Vista in early November which raises funds for the Ceramics program at Vista High. |
