| I live where the San Diego River meets the Pacific Ocean. I am surrounded by water. It is a constantly fluctuating landscape. The sea fills the grassy islands when it rises at high tide, and leaves muddy expanses when it recedes at low tide. It is place of intimate settings and vast space where tidal grasslands lead to the ocean. | |
