Katie Francis is a ceramic artist and educator in San Diego. She received her MFA in ceramics at San Diego State University.
Her current work explores the act of remembrance and preservation of memory through ceramic vessels, most of which are soda-fired. She has participated in national exhibitions, and she is currently a ceramic instructor at multiple colleges in San Diego. Her work has been featured in Ink & Clay 45 at the Kellogg University Gallery in Pomona, CA, and The Last Group Show at Bread & Salt Gallery in San Diego. |
