| I've been working in clay for over thirty years. I took my first pottery class in high school and kept coming back to it. The combination of physicality and art is attractive to me. I enjoy taking the raw clay and creating pleasing forms, classic and otherwise, and them embellishing them with carving and texture. When I sit at the wheel to make a piece, it is a metitative experience absorbing me both mind and body. Pottery for me is a yogic art. | |
